I don't often write hobbit stories, at least not full-length ones, but sometimes a story involving them will demand to be told. Aside from the obvious text criticism angle, it was very fun being ble to write a rather normal teenage/young woman girl - it was writing myself and my friends in many ways, so it came very naturally.

I'm so glad you gave this a chance, and that you like all the things you did about it. It's very gratifying to hear those kind of things.
