Our current challenge Caprice and Chance ends on June 10. When we say the challenge "ends," we mean that fanworks posted after June 10 will not receive a stamp. You are nonetheless welcome to continue posting challenge responses and even request prompts after June 10, of course! These responses just won't receive participant stamps. (Stamps for comments have no due date.)
There has been only one response so far and it's feeling rather sad and lonely! So if you find the writing time and inspiration, make sure to add yours within the next four days.
If you need a reminder what this challenge is all about:
This month's challenge is a Matryoshka challenge based on the sultry, swoony tropes of that perennial favorite for beach reading, the bodice-ripper romance. Your fanwork does not have to be a romance story, but prompts will be loosely inspired by the plot arcs and tropes of these novels. (Please note that prompts are not romance-specific. Any genre of fanwork can be created based on these prompts, although there may be a special reward for participants who attempt a romance fanwork.)
See our challenges page for instructions on how to request a prompt and full challenge guidelines.
"Caprice and Chance" fanworks that have been posted so far can be found here.
