Summary: In the waning years of Tar-Palantír's reign, a young woman of the Númenórean nobility and a shepherdess of Hyarastorni find pleasure in one another's company. They know that they must guard the nature of their relationship, but Elerína recalls what her grandmother told her of a great queen who loved a woman.
Written for the International Day of Femslash Challenge.
Having combed through the story of Aldarion and Erendis myself, I think this story is very canon compliant since the Company of Women is referred to in canon. I still love Pandë's take on this, there is so much to this story besides the sensual scenes in it: the vivid scenery as if the author paints the scene for you with words, it just takes you to Numenor. A true gem.
In response to O44 Was written a long time ago (also for the rec & Review card)

Summary: In observance of the International Day of Femslash (July 19, 2008): Galadriel/Aredhel, a true drabble. According to my research there is one year between the births of these two women, with Galadriel being the younger. Why femslash these two? Why not? They both seem adventurous, rebellious even, and I would imagine quite close in their youths.
Let's dust off this golden oldie. This ficlet is well written: it captures the moment of two teens, showing both characters so well as they bicker a bit before they indulge themselves for more lovemaking.
Oh and I discovered this gorgeous poem earlier this evening (I reviewed it on AO3), but I wanted to rec it here as well (also for the rec and review card, B8 Has fewer than three reviews):
